We are searching for an energetic, personable, HR co-ordinator to assist with building and caring for our high calibre team.

The Angus family own and operate 5 stations in Central and Northern Queensland along with a feedlot and export meat processing faciltiy located on Sondella Station. It is a busy, rapidly growing, family orientated company with a dedication to producing high quality beef.

Cattle Station

Sondella station is the location of our main office and accommodation village. It is located 56km North of Moranbah in Central Queensland. Living within the village is a core part and necessary part of the role.

Immediate

Management of the recruitment processes for the business

Advertising open positions

Due diligence, initial interviews and short listing of applicants

Making recommendations and providing summary reports to management of suitable candidates.

Providing weekly updates on open positions, recruitment progress and staff movements (incoming and outgoing)

Onboarding of new staff members





Maintaining on boarding information

Pre-site induction processes

Weekly check ins with current staff to ensure on-boarding is effective

Liason with schools and universities

Awareness initiatives

Social media to enhance group profile around employment opportunities

Compliance

Maintaining policies, procedures, training records and other compliance tasks

Payroll

Enhancing village life through co-ordination of the village committee.

Agricultural or HR background is preferred

High levels of organisation and communication skills

Professional standards and a commitment to confidentiality

Accommodation and meals are available in the village.

A generous salary package commensurate with experience
