Locum Biomedical Scientist in Histology n

Banding: Band 6

Location: Wales

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: Core hours only

Hourly Rate: £25 - £33

n

Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist.

n

Must have experience with: Dissection, microtomy, QC, immunohistochemistry, Special stains.

n

Working hours: 08:30 - 1700

Key Responsibilities n

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.

Qualifications and Experience n

HCPC registration

n
- n

Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

n
- n

Experience in Histology within a UK based clinical pathology laboratory

n
- n

Experience with Dissection, microtomy, QC, immunohistochemistry, Special stains.

n
- n

Solid attention to detail

n
- n





Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- n

NHS experience (requried)
