This is a genuine contract opportunity offering the chance to deliver meaningful HR support within a large-scale, complex operational environment.

About the Operation n

With major transformation initiatives currently underway, our client is investing in its people and HR capability to support a strong operational future. You'll be embedded within an established HR Operations team, working directly alongside operational leaders to drive outcomes across a dynamic workforce.

The Role n

Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will act as a trusted HR partner to operational teams, providing timely and pragmatic advice across a broad generalist remit. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing HR advice across employee relations, performance management, and legislative compliance
n
- Supporting performance improvement plans and attendance management processes
n
- Assisting with workforce planning, roster planning, and establishment management activities
n
- Contributing to recruitment support and organisational capability initiatives
n
- Supporting remuneration, benefits, payroll processing, and injury management activities
n
- Assisting with the delivery and implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

- Partnering with leaders to support data-driven decision making
n

About You n

You are a capable HR generalist who thrives in quick-paced, operational settings. You bring sound judgement, strong stakeholder skills, and the confidence to deliver consistent, professional advice at all levels of an organisation. You will also bring:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
n
- 2+ years' HR experience, within the resources, mining, or heavy industry sector
n
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective stakeholder relationships
n
- Confidence acting as a trusted HR resource across all levels of an organisation
n
