Role Description

The Senior Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Surry Hills, NSW. This role is responsible for coordinating architectural and design projects from planning through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include managing project schedules and milestones, coordinating with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors, and overseeing documentation, approvals, and inspections. The Senior Project Coordinator will monitor procurement and logistics, expedite materials and information, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.



The role also involves reporting on project status, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and supporting continuous process improvement within the studio.

Qualifications

- Experience in project coordination and project management, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Skills in expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, information, and approvals.
- Knowledge of inspection processes and quality control for design, construction, or fit-out projects.
- Logistics management skills to oversee procurement, delivery coordination, and site readiness.
- Background in architecture, design, construction management, or a related field; tertiary qualification is highly advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools; familiarity with architectural documentation workflows is beneficial.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
