The team includes a Partner who is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation and a collaborative junior lawyer.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Litigator to join their team, from Senior Associate to Special Counsel level, with opportunities to advance and achieve your career goals. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of commercial litigation cases, including:

- Insolvency and Bankruptcy
- Corporate disputes
- Building & Construction (QBCC), representing builders and homeowners
- Defamation
- Contractual and partnership disputes
- Body Corporate disputes
- Insurance disputes
- Employment disputes
- Wills & Estates litigation

There is also the option to engage in personal injury cases, including motor accidents, work cover, public liability, historical abuse, and TPD claims, though this is not a requirement.

Your responsibilities will include drafting demand letters, preparing court documents, representing clients in court and QCAT,



and managing both plaintiff and defendant matters.

Key Requirements:

- 5+ years PAE in commercial litigation
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
- Excellent drafting and court appearance skills
- Experience in handling a wide range of litigation matters
- Willingness to work from either Brisbane or Gold Coast office, with the potential to expand the Gold Coast litigation team
- Valid practicing certificate for Queensland
