We’re looking for an experienced Barista to join our team at Cornerstone Café , located within Bankstown Sports, one of Sydney’s busiest hospitality venues.

n

This is a casual position offering part-time to full-time equivalent hours , with consistent shifts, flexibility and opportunities to grow within a large hospitality group. Shifts range from early 6am starts through to late nights , giving you plenty of variety across the week.

Cornerstone Café sits right at the heart of the action. It’s a busy, fast-paced venue where great coffee, efficient service and genuine hospitality are essential.

As part of the wider Bankstown Sports Group, you’ll also have opportunities to cross-train and gain experience across our other venues and food & beverage operations .

About the Role n

As a Barista at Cornerstone, you’ll be working in a high-volume environment where speed, consistency and great customer service matter.

n

You’ll be responsible for:

n

n
- Preparing quality coffee and hot and cold beverages
n
- Free pouring latte art and consistently presenting great coffee
n
- Dialling in grinders using scales and adjusting to recipe
n
- Taking and processing customer orders through the POS
n




- Coordinating with fellow Baristas to keep service flowing during busy periods
n
- Maintaining coffee machines, grinders and a clean, organised workspace
n
- Restocking and monitoring stock levels
n
- Providing friendly and efficient service to our members and guests
n
- Supporting the wider café and F&B; team as required
n

About You n

You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys coffee and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

n

- Strong coffee knowledge and attention to quality
n
- Confidence with latte art and free pouring
n
- Experience dialling in grinders and adjusting coffee recipes
n
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills
n
- A positive, team-focused attitude
n
- Initiative and willingness to learn
n
- Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays
n
- RSA & RCG competency card, or willingness to obtain
n
