Summary: We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team specialising in fireplaces, bathrooms, furniture, hardware, and lighting. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers in product selection, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about home improvement and design, contributing to a positive shopping experience and driving sales growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in product selection.
- Provide detailed information about products and services to enhance customer understanding.
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.

ABOUT YOU

- Proven experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and vibrant personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- RSA certification is required
- Ability to speak a second language is highly regarded but not essential

ABOUT LOTTE DUTY FREE

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

- Location: Melbourne Airport
- Full time position: 76 hours’ fortnightly
- Part time and casual positions: up to 60 hours’ fortnightly
- 2 week rotating roster
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays

Seasonal opportunities and peak period support are available with various brands in the group.
