The Opportunity

You are a strong Estimator with 2 to 5 years' (New Build) experience who is ready for more. Maybe you have outgrown your current role. Maybe there is a Senior ahead of you who is not going anywhere. Either way, you are ready for more and are seeking the opportunity to push on.





At Westbury, you will have the volume and variety of tenders to build your skills quickly, and a clear path to Senior Estimator. You will work closely with the Directors on strategy and with Project Managers on programme, in a team where your results are seen and rewarded.

What You Will Be Doing

- Reviewing and interpreting tender documents, drawings, specifications and scopes of work

- Preparing accurate, competitive estimates across construction, building services and maintenance

- Submitting tenders through government portals including BuyNSW, TenderLink and VendorPanel

- Analysing labour, materials, plant and subcontractor costs

- Building pricing with suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams

- Managing multiple live bids to deadline, with increasing ownership as you progress

- Contributing to improvements in our estimating processes and tools (AI/SI)

What You Bring

- 4 to 5 years' estimating experience in construction Estimating. (Recent Build or Heavy Refurb)

- Working knowledge of CostX (essential), plus Excel and Word

- Qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying or engineering, or a trade background with proven estimating experience

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical documentation accurately

- An understanding of procurement, subcontractor coordination and project costing

- Clear written and verbal communication

- Drive to step up to Senior level and take ownership of results
