Looking to join the magical world of Peter Alexander as an Assistant Store Manager! This is your chance to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional experience to both your team and customers in the BANKSTOWN store. You’ll help drive sales, create a delightful store environment and ensure everything runs like clockwork. It’s all about spreading happiness, creativity and a little bit of luxury.

This is a FULL TIME position with availability required on alternating weekends, one late-night trading per fortnight and occasional public holidays.

A Day in the Life

- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and maintaining a customer-first store atmosphere.
- Help train and develop your team to enhance their performance and growth.
- Assist with stock control, visual merchandising, and ensuring the store stays organised and welcoming.
- Contribute to creating a positive, motivating environment for your team.
- Help manage rosters and ensure the store is appropriately staffed during peak trading times.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in retail, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- A passion for fashion and providing great customer service.
- Ability to support sales targets and KPIs and help your team achieve success.
- Visual merchandising experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience in a high stock volume business is a bonus.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your main contribution will be to collaborate with the Store Manager in all aspects of leading the store. To ensure your success in this role, we provide training and coaching in luxury sales, management, and clienteling, according to our cutting‑edge approach to client experience. You will play a vital role in ensuring excellent service and sales results by:

- Overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the store,



ensuring a luxurious and cutting‑edge atmosphere
- Monitoring and analysing sales performance, identifying areas for improvement to drive store performance
- Supporting with analysing KPIs and act proactively to implement sales strategies
- Supporting with recruiting, training, and leading the team to optimise performance

- Self‑reliant in knowing how to guide and motivate a team with transparent communication and feedback
- Proficiency in prioritising responsibilities, and delegating tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of sales techniques, product knowledge, and visual merchandising

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

- Minimum 1 year leadership experience in Luxury fashion
- Good knowledge in analysing retail KPIs and building a strategy plan accordingly
- Customer relationship management (CRM) and clienteling
- Fluent in English, which is a prerequisite for this position. Bilingual Mandarin preferred
