The Role

Work with an experienced maintenance team to support the reliability and performance of underground and surface mining equipment through planned maintenance, workshop duties and breakdowns.

- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing underground drills loaders, trucks, anxcillary and plenty more
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance on all gear
- Component changeouts, mechanical fault finding and hydraulics
- Working across OEM brands including Sandvik, Epiroc and Normet, Elphinstone and CAT
- Work across both surface and underground workshops depending on daily requirements and tasks allocated

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful within this role and hit the ground running you will need to have the following:

- Heavy diesel trade qualification in Cert III or equivalent.
- Proven experience working on heavy equipment e.g. earthmoving, agricultural or civil, open cut etc
- Open cut or underground mining experience is highly regarded.
- Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance + unrestricted manual license
