MRAEL are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Apprentice to join the team at Trans Vent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and industry recognised training in a high-demand industry. This position is open to applicants interested in kick-starting their career or who have already commenced their apprenticeship.

Applicants must hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport. Please note the factory will be relocating to Park Ridge in roughly 12 months.

Trans Vent is dedicated to manufacturing and fabricating spiral tubing and ducting for HVAC and construction projects. They pride themselves on quality, reliability, and service, offering in-house manufacturing and design assistance for a wide range of spiral tubing and piping projects.

About the position:

As a Sheetmetal Apprentice you will assist in the manufacturing of air conditioning fittings from light gauge metal and some welding.

- Assist in the production, manufacture and repair of a range of light metal products
- Measure, cut and bend materials using hand and power tools
- Learn correct safety practices
- Support experienced sheet metal workers on various projects.

What we are looking for:

- A solid willingness to learn with a passion and genuine interest for the industry
- Hardworking and reliable




- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Safety conscious and ability to work effectively in a team
- Certificate II in Engineering is highly regarded for this position
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
