Rydges Geelong is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Duty Manager / Hotel All‑Rounder to join our team in a full‑time salaried role. About the Role

As a Duty Manager / All‑Rounder, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the hotel, ensuring our guests receive outstanding service across all touchpoints. No two days are the same, with responsibilities spanning Front Office, Guest Services, and Food & Beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operation of the hotel during your shift
- Lead and support Front Office and Guest Services teams
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest enquiries professionally
- Assist with check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, and guest requests
- Support Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, conference and event service
- Ensure hotel standards, procedures, and safety requirements are maintained
- Handle shift reporting, cash management, and operational administration
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and development
- Act as the key point of contact for guests and team members outside standard management hours

About You





To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a hotel supervisory or duty management role
- Strong knowledge of Front Office and Food & Beverage operations
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A positive, hands‑on approach and willingness to lead by example
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
