What you will be doing

As a Transfer Station Attendant you will be responsible for the below duties:

- Greet customers and record details as they enter the transfer station
- Direct customers to the correct areas to unload waste and recycling
- Monitor and direct vehicle movements entering and leaving the site
- Assist customers with enquiries and provide high quality customer service
- Complete site records and maintain clean and hazard free work areas

What you will need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

- Ability to travel between required work sites
- Good written communication and customer service skills
- Reliable work ethic with a robust commitment to safety
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Backhoe licence or previous waste industry experience desirable
