About the role

We are seeking a full time Driver / Store-Person to join our dynamic team at our Rockdale facility. This is a critical operational role that combines both driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring the seamless distribution of frozen food products to our customers throughout the region. You will be the face of our company on the road and the backbone of our warehouse operations, playing an essential part in maintaining our reputation for reliability and quality service. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols

Load and unload frozen food products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and temperature control

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and delivery documentation

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or damage immediately

Receive, unload and store incoming frozen food shipments at the warehouse facility

Organise and maintain warehouse stock, ensuring products are stored correctly and are easily accessible

Pick and pack orders according to delivery schedules and customer requirements





Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts where applicable

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in both the warehouse and vehicles

Communicate effectively with management, warehouse staff and customers regarding deliveries and stock levels

Comply with all food handling, health and safety regulations relevant to frozen food distribution

What we're looking for

Current, valid Australian Driver's License, a current forklift operator's licenses are both essential.

Proven experience as a driver or in warehouse operations within the food distribution industry

Strong knowledge of vehicle safety checks and maintenance requirements

Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when recording delivery information and managing inventory

Reliable, punctual and committed to meeting delivery schedules

Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding warehouse and driving duties

Willingness to work flexibly to meet operational demands

A solid safety record and commitment to following workplace health and safety procedures
