RSM Motorcycles is seeking a Spare Parts Interpreter/Front of House professional to join our team in Wauchope, NSW. This is a full time position that combines customer-facing expertise with technical knowledge of motorcycle spare parts and accessories. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service whilst interpreting complex parts queries and facilitating sales across our retail operation.

Key responsibilities

- Providing expert customer service to walk-in customers, responding to telephone enquiries, and managing counter interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Interpreting customer requirements and translating technical motorcycle specifications into appropriate spare parts and accessories recommendations
- Accessing and utilising parts catalogues, motorcycle manuals, and inventory systems to identify correct components for various motorcycle models and makes
- Processing sales transactions, managing payments, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all counter sales
- Maintaining stock levels, monitoring inventory rotation, and assisting with stock organisation and displays
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing follow-up support and addressing any concerns or complaints professionally
- Liaising with suppliers and workshop staff to coordinate parts availability and ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly
- Contributing to a clean, safe, and well‑organised retail setting that reflects the standards of RSM Motorcycles
- Assisting with administrative tasks including order processing, documentation, and general office duties as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment, ideally within the automotive, motorcycle, or spare parts industry
- Strong knowledge of motorcycles, including different models, makes, and technical specifications, or willingness to develop this expertise rapidly




- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in clear, accessible language to customers of varying technical abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professional conduct
- Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail in processing orders and managing customer information
- A genuine passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle community
- Physical capability to perform duties including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in a retail/workshop environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in parts interpretation, automotive retail, or customer service are advantageous but not essential
