The Role

This is not your standard digital delivery or tech-focused product role. We are looking for a true, traditional commercial Product Manager to take ownership of the Home Loans portfolio. Reporting directly to senior leadership, your core focus will be the financial performance of the product—managing the P&L;, capital design, pricing strategies, and compliance frameworks. You will be the commercial engine behind the product, driving profitability, managing risk, and optimizing the customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention.

What you will be doing

- Commercial Ownership: Drive the growth and profitability of the home loan portfolio by actively managing pricing strategies, net interest income, and acquisition costs.
- Capital Design & Economics: Deep dive into the financial structure of the loans,



ensuring optimal product economics and margin management.
- Risk & Compliance: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the regulatory landscape, ensuring rigorous legal risk management and compliance across all product lines.
- Customer Lifecycle: Develop strategies to improve conversion rates ("speed to yes") and maximise customer retention.
- Process Optimisation: Champion the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Product Information Memorandums (PIMs) to strengthen internal controls.
- Market Strategy: Conduct continuous market research and competitor benchmarking to adapt to evolving market needs.

What you bring to the table

- A proven background as a Traditional Product Manager within the financial services sector (Home Loans, Mortgages, or non-bank lending experience is highly regarded).
- Deep expertise in Capital Design and P&L; management -you understand the core economics, funding, and pricing of lending products.
- Strong working knowledge of lending compliance and regulatory risk frameworks.
- A highly analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex market data into actionable pricing and product strategies.
