Bowen Hills, Brisbane | Landmark Multi-Residential Development | Immediate Start Your new company Hays Construction are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded interiors contractor to recruit an experienced Ceiling & Partitions Supervisor for a major multi-residential project in Brisbane's inner north. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the internal framing, plasterboard, ceilings and partitions packages across high-rise residential towers currently under construction in Bowen Hills. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be the lead site representative for the contractor, driving programme, quality and safety outcomes throughout the fit-out and structure interface stages.

Your new role

As the Ceiling & Partitions Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Supervising day-to-day site activities across ceilings, framing and plasterboard trades
- Coordinating subcontract labour, materials and deliveries
- Managing programme requirements to meet key construction milestones
- Conducting quality inspections and ensuring works are completed to specification
- Monitoring site safety and maintaining compliance with project requirements
- Liaising with the builder's site team, consultants and other trades




- Identifying and resolving construction issues before they impact the programme
- Maintaining site records, progress reporting and workforce management

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will bring:

- Proven experience supervising ceiling, wall and partition installations on commercial or residential projects
- Strong understanding of metal framing, plasterboard systems, suspended ceilings and finishing requirements
- Experience working on multi-storey residential or large-scale commercial developments
- Ability to manage multiple crews and coordinate works within live construction programmes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Construction White Card
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
