A rare in-house opportunity to contribute to business-critical legal work at an organisation at the forefront of efforts to combat fraud and scams. As a Senior Regulatory and Privacy Lawyer, you'll advise across privacy, data, and regulatory matters, sitting close to the business and helping teams move forward with confidence. This role suits a pragmatic, commercially minded lawyer with a genuine interest in data and privacy law, and a solutions-first mindset.

Skills & Experience n

n
- Advise on privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance, translating complex obligations into clear, practical guidance.
n
- Partner with commercial, product, marketing, and data teams as a trusted legal advisor.
n
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including technology, licensing, confidentiality, and data-sharing agreements.
n
- Support regulated customer engagements, ensuring alignment with APRA CPS 234, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and the Telecommunications Act.
n
- Advise on governance, risk management,



and regulatory reporting obligations.
n
- Manage privacy requests, including data subject access requests and regulator inquiries.
n
- Improve legal operations, refining templates, standard agreements, and contracting workflows.
n
- Contribute to strategic and commercial projects, including IP matters and growth initiatives.
n
- Resolve contract disputes by interpreting rights and obligations and recommending a practical path forward.
