About the role n

Join the Barwon Early Parenting Centre (BEPC) and make a meaningful difference to families with children aged 0 - 4 years.

n

As a Social Worker, you will provide social work expertise across inpatient and outpatient services, including residential, day stay and triage programs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support families to strengthen parent-child relationships, develop parenting confidence and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

n

You will work closely with families, health professionals and community services to provide tailored support and connect families with appropriate services and resources.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Provide psychosocial assessment and clinical intervention for children and families accessing the BEPC.
n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations to support family wellbeing.
n
- Provide consultation, referrals and connection to appropriate community-based services and supports.
n
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement and service planning activities.
n

What we're looking for nn
- A Bachelor or entry-level Master of Social Work accredited by the AASW, with eligibility for AASW membership.
n
- Experience applying social work knowledge and skills within a health or community setting.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build effective relationships with families and professionals.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development and the AASW Code of Ethics.
n
