We're on the hunt for a Water Industry Worker to join the team in Thornlands!

This is your chance to get your foot in the door with local government, work alongside an experienced crew and potentially turn a temporary gig into something permanent. Not a bad deal, right?

WHAT'S THE JOB? n

You'll be getting out in the field and helping keep the water and wastewater networks running smoothly.

n

Your day-to-day will include:

n

n
- Assisting with water and wastewater network maintenance and repairs
n
- Working with pipes, valves, hydrants, pumps and other equipment
n
- Getting hands-on with tools, small plant and general labouring duties
n
- Working safely alongside a supportive, experienced team
n
- Helping keep job records and operational information up to date
n
- Delivering great service to the community
n

- $41.19 per hour
n
- 7am - 3.45pm Monday to Friday
n
- Every second Friday off as an RDO
n




- Local government experience
n
- Hands-on outdoor work - no sitting behind a desk all day!
n
- The prospect to learn, develop your skills and grow within the water industry
n

- Experience in construction, maintenance, civil labouring or similar hands-on work.
n
- A willingness to learn and get stuck in.
n
- Aqua Card, Brown Card and Green Card training are desirable.
n
