Based in Smeaton Grange, Steeline Sydney is currently seeking an enthusiastic Sales/Customer Service person to join our team.

About us: n

Steeline is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers, and distributors of high-quality metal roofing and steel structures. From roofing and fencing to patios and sheds, our roll-formed steel building products are manufactured locally using the highest quality BlueScope® steel.

The opportunity: n

Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Sales/Customer Service person who has data entry experience, or wiling to learn. Bonus if you have Roofing industry experience.

If this role excites you, but you do not meet all of the above criteria, we will consider either of the two options below

- An experienced Sales/Customer Service person who is comfortable using computers, but has minimal roofing knowledge, (as we can teach)
n
- Someone who has roofing/building knowledge or the ability to read and interpret plans and drawings, but has minimal sales or computer experience, (as we can teach)
n

The end goal is to have someone join our team who is willing to learn and provide the best Customer Service Experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities: n

This exciting chance is all about communication whether via phone, email or customer facing.

n

n
- Provide personalised assistance to both tradespeople and mum & dad customers, handling inquiries and quotations.
n
- Ability to research and investigate product queries
n
- Partner closely with all internal stakeholders, including sales, stores and distribution to ensure Customer Service Excellence
n
- Follow up customer quotations, deliveries and external supplier orders
n
- In conjunction with Sales, follow up customer leads and estimation process, converting into rewarding sales opportunities
n

Preferred Skills nn
- Computer Literacy, with some data entry experience
n
- Basic mathematical knowledge
n
- Ability to interpret building plans preferred, but not essential
n
- Experience in the Roofing or building industry is an advantage but not essential
n
- On the job training provided
