As aCook , you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincent's Care Services Yennora.

St Vincent's Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a 141-bed facility located approximately 29km from Sydney's CBD.

Mon, Tue and Wed - 9.30am to 5.30pm

Things that work for us: n

- Trade qualification in Commercial cooking (preferred), current Food Handler Certificate
n

- Proven experience with volume cooking such as hotels, healthcare and/or similar environments
n
- Flexibility toproducespecial dietary requirements– knowledge of aged care related nutrition and special diets for healthadvantageous.
n

- Excellent knowledge related to all facets of Food Services which includes but not limited to chill production and planning dining service
n
- Understanding of and compliance with food safety hygiene standards
n
- High level of customer service skills
n

- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
n

- Ability to follow directives as per care plan
n

- Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
n

- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check(within 6 months)

- NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
