This privately owned fashion retailer is one of the most recognised brands in Australia, boasting a stable of highly successful brands within the group. The business has evolved substantially in recent years as retail has become more complex across stores, eCommerce, product planning and fulfilment.

Reporting to the COO and partnering with the ELT, the Group Supply Chain Manager will own the end-to-end performance and future direction of each of the brands within the group. The mandate combines hands‑on operational leadership with a 3–5-year view of network, systems, freight and fulfilment capability. This role will lead a small team and manage relationships with the brand Managing Directors, planning teams, Group Inventory, IT, Finance and Retail Operations leaders. Following a significant supply chain centralisation, a key deliverable will be to optimise that platform through peak trading, improve flow and productivity, strengthen end-to-end freight capability and continue assessing opportunities to simplify remaining external flows. The business is progressing a multi‑year ERP transformation from legacy systems; the Group Supply Chain Manager will translate this systems roadmap into practical supply chain improvements, including stronger stock visibility, data integrity and a more integrated view of inventory across the Group.

The leader will be expected to drive end-to-end cost improvement, manage key logistics contracts, communicate service risks early and clearly, and bring a well‑evidenced supply chain roadmap to senior leadership and the Board.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics leader who is comfortable in a lean, privately owned company where senior leaders solve problems, influence across functions and work without large teams or layers of support. Solid retail experience is critical, particularly in businesses with high SKU counts, seasonal demand, replenishment, store networks and eCommerce. Fashion or apparel experience will be highly regarded, although adjacent retail backgrounds are considered. You will demonstrate strong financial and commercial capability across cost‑to‑serve, freight, labour, contracts and supplier performance, together with the capability to navigate a multi‑ERP/WMS environment and a significant systems transformation. Cultural fit is critical. We require a low‑ego, down‑to‑earth leader who builds relationships before imposing change, empowers capable people rather than over‑managing them, and can engage with brand MDs, planning teams, senior leadership and the Board.
