Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Health Care Services to lead the School’s Health Centre and provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across health and wellbeing services. This is a senior leadership role which is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, student-centred health care to day and boarding students, while also supporting the broader School community through solid clinical governance, health promotion, and emergency management practices.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday during school term time, together with one additional week during non-term time.





The successful candidate will be a highly experienced and professional Registered Nurse with demonstrated leadership capability and a commitment to excellence in student health and wellbeing. Experience in a school, boarding, paediatric, adolescent health, or similar environment will be highly regarded. This is a highly autonomous role requiring:

Excellent organisational and management skills

Ability to lead and drive process improvement and clinical best practice

Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Accurate records management

A caring and empathetic approach to student and staff wellbeing

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant Nursing qualifications and current registration

Current certificates in First Aid, Anaphylaxis management, and CPR.

Current Working With Children Check.
