Aqua Pool and Spa Service is looking for a reliable, motivated Pool & Spa Service Technician to join our team in a full-time position , servicing customers across Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas.

n

Previous experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right person who has a practical approach and a willingness to learn.

About the role n

You will carry out regular pool and spa servicing, maintain water quality and check pool equipment. You will follow a scheduled daily run, communicate with customers and keep accurate records of the work completed.

You will n

n
- Test pool and spa water and add chemicals according to test results and product instructions.
n
- Clean pools and spas, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming and emptying baskets.
n
- Backwash media filters and clean cartridge filters.
n
- Check pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners, and adjust settings as required.
n
- Identify equipment faults, leaks and maintenance needs, and report issues requiring further attention.
n
- Explain service results and ongoing pool and spa care to customers.
n
- Record water test results, chemicals used,



service notes and equipment issues in Pooltrakr.
n
- Follow scheduled service runs and communicate any delays or additional work required.
n
- Keep the service vehicle, tools and chemical stock clean, organised and ready for each day.
n
- Follow safe work procedures for chemical handling, equipment use and working around pools.
n

Experience in pool and spa servicing or general maintenance will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

- A current driver licence.

- Reliability, punctuality and a robust work ethic.

- Practical aptitude and confidence working with tools.
n
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn pool servicing and water chemistry.

- Friendly communication skills and a professional manner.

- The ability to work independently once trained and as part of a team.
n
- Confidence using a phone or tablet to record job information.
n
- The ability to carry out the physical duties of the role, including working outdoors and handling equipment and supplies safely.
