The role

Looking for some extra work in the lead up to Christmas?

Based out of Arundel on the Gold Coast, we’re after a safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our team on a 6-week fixed term basis with consideration to permanent placement for the right candidate.

You’ll drive our heavy combination (HC) vehicles, moving construction plant, equipment and materials between our base and project sites, including heavy machinery such as excavators.

You’ll load and unload safely and securely, complete your daily vehicle inspections and pre-starts, and keep your logbooks and vehicle in top shape in line with NHVR requirements.

You’ll work closely with site managers and our logistics team to keep transport schedules running smoothly, and when you’re not on the road, you’ll lend a hand with yard duties or site support.

Your roster

Monday to Friday, with early starts. Most weeks you’ll be home for the weekend. Depending on where our projects are, occasional weekends away may be needed, and accommodation and allowances are provided when they are.

Some of the must-haves

Willingness to travel and stay away from home when projects need it

A current and valid Australian HC drivers licence - with proven operating experience

A White Card (Construction Induction Card)

A clean driving record, with a solid understanding of heavy vehicle road rules and fatigue management

A professional attitude,



strong work ethic and genuine commitment to safety

An MC licence (highly regarded)

Experience transporting heavy plant or construction equipment

Previous experience working in or around construction environments
