Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical Ward team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical nurse to contribute to patient care in a busy ward setting in Lismore, NSW. The contract runs from as soon as possible through to 22 November 2026, offering flexibility for the right candidate looking to make an immediate impact in a healthcare environment.

- Medical ward nursing in a busy, established hospital setting

- Based in Lismore, NSW with the prospect to work alongside an experienced clinical team

Preferred Requirements

- Recent and demonstrated experience in medical ward nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills in a medical setting
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound time management and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and patient safety

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
