Level 1 IT Support Technician – Field-Based About the Role n

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Level 1 IT Support Technician to join a growing IT support team servicing a portfolio of clients.

n

This is a field-based, hands-on role and is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is eager to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, and progress into more senior support and project-focused roles.

Key Responsibilities n

Reporting to the IT support team, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- n

Providing Level 1 technical support to a client base of private schools

n
- n

Managing and responding to support requests through ConnectWise

n
- n

Monitoring and supporting client environments using NinjaOne RMM

n
- n

Assisting with user access, documentation and credential management through IT Glue

n
- n

Supporting users across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

n
- n

Providing support for Apple devices and education environments

n
- n

Assisting with device management using JAMF and Microsoft Intune

n
- n

Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and end-user issues

n
- n

Providing responsive, professional and customer-focused support to school staff

n
- n

Escalating more complex technical issues to senior team members when required

n
- n

Maintaining accurate ticket notes and technical documentation

n
- n

Working closely with senior technicians and gaining exposure to a variety of technologies and IT projects

n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- n

1–2 years of IT support experience , or relevant practical experience

n
- n





A relevant IT qualification or degree is preferred

n
- n

A genuine passion for technology and problem-solving

n
- n

A strong desire to learn, develop your technical skills and pursue industry certifications

n
- n

Excellent communication and customer service skills

n
- n

The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team

n
- n

A professional and approachable manner when working with school staff and clients

n
- n

A willingness to work regularly on-site across Inner Eastern Suburbs.

n
