Join Smile Lounge – Where Smiles and Careers Shine

Most OHT jobs want you cleaning teeth as rapid as possible. We want you using everything you trained for.

At Smile Lounge you’ll have your own DA in every session, appointments booked around the procedure rather than the clock, and a book full of kids, restorative, ortho and perio. Plus weekly mentoring from our principal dentists to keep you growing.

What you’ll be doing

- Children’s care, including fissure sealants, restorations and SSCs

- Adult restorations

- Orthodontics, Invisalign and braces, with iTero and Primescan scanning

- Perio care, including LANAP, with Airflow as standard

- DSLR clinical photography

What you get

- $50–75 an hour plus super, based on experience and productivity

- Your own DA, every session

- Appointment times set by procedure, not squeezed into a standard slot

- 30 minutes of paid prep and 30 minutes of paid wrap-up every day, so you’re not setting up for free

- Two weeks of structured onboarding, then observation sessions, a clinical buddy, and weekly mentoring with our principal dentists

- Monthly study club and in-house training

Hours

Full-time: Including at least one late night (till 7:30pm) and Saturday mornings. Starting December 2026.

Smile Lounge is a full-fee practice, not a preferred provider for any health fund.



We book around the patient rather than a fund’s fee schedule, and that changes the whole day for you.

Patients come to us for a calmer kind of dental visit. There are ceiling TVs, wireless headphones, Sonos and aromatherapy in every room. They expect quality, they’re happy to pay for it, and they listen when you talk to them about their oral health. Our dentists provide implants, veneers, smile makeovers, Invisalign and facial injectables, so when you spot something, there’s someone down the hall to refer to.

We’ve been training and mentoring full-scope OHTs for years, so we know what the first few months take and we plan for them. We’re an Invisalign Platinum Elite provider, patients have left us more than 600 five-star Google reviews, and we’ve won the Employment category at the Casey Business Awards. We train together every month, and every December we go away for a team retreat.
