About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orange Door Practitioner to provide specialist support to individuals and families experiencing family violence and other complex needs.

Working fully remotely, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, client-centred services, supporting clients through assessment, safety planning, referral pathways and ongoing case management.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning in line with MARAM frameworks

- Providing information, support and interventions to individuals and families experiencing family violence

- Undertaking case management and coordinating referrals to appropriate services

- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders

- Maintaining accurate case notes, assessments and client documentation

- Delivering trauma-informed, culturally safe and client-centred support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience working as an Orange Door Practitioner (required)

- A strong understanding of MARAM, family violence risk assessment and safety planning

- Knowledge of the Victorian family violence and broader community services sectors

- Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or a related discipline

- Solid assessment,



case management and communication skills

- The ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively

- Confidence using online systems and delivering support in a fully remote environment
