Maintenance Electrician | Commercial Service & Maintenance

J&R; Synergy are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join an established building services business, carrying out commercial service and maintenance work across Brisbane.

This is a hands-on chance for an electrician who enjoys variety, troubleshooting electrical issues and working across a range of commercial sites. You’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance, resolving electrical faults and ensuring building services remain safe and operational.

With a company vehicle provided and a varied workload across commercial facilities, this role offers the opportunity to work autonomously while being supported by an experienced team.

The Role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out scheduled and preventative electrical maintenance across commercial sites
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults, breakdowns and service issues
- Maintaining and repairing lighting, power, switchboards and general electrical infrastructure
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests and prioritising urgent works
- Conducting electrical inspections, testing and identifying potential issues
- Liaising with Facilities Managers, clients and other trades to coordinate works
- Completing service reports, work orders and maintenance documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant electrical standards and safety requirements

About You

We’re looking for a capable and reliable electrician with a strong background in commercial service and maintenance, who can confidently manage jobs and deliver quality outcomes across multiple sites.
You'll ideally have:

- A current QLD Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in commercial electrical maintenance or service
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- A professional approach to client communication and service delivery
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A current driver's licence

Previous Service/Management experience will be highly regarded, as will additional trade tickets such as an EWP licence.
