CMB Electrical is a leading provider of Mechanical / HVAC Electrical solutions. We are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients and also work in partnership with our Building Automation Team providing the installation of BMS control systems.

With an increase in projects and sales funnel from our dedicated sales team, we are looking for additional permanent members to join our team.

About the role

We are seeking experienced HVAC electricians or electricians with a willingness to learn, to join our team in Sydney. This is a full time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, warehousing and healthcare projects predominantly throughout the Sydney metro areas but also have projects extending up to Newcastle and down to Nowra.

What you'll be doing

- Performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs for a range of commercial, warehouse and healthcare greenfield and brownfield sites
- Installation and retrofitting of Building Management Systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics and blueprints to guide your work




- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and building codes
- Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate projects ensuring they are delivered on-time and within budget

What we're looking for

- Formal qualification as an Electrician, such as a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Experience as a qualified Electrician, preferably from the mechanical electrical field
- Strong practical and technical skills in electrical installation, maintenance and repair
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
