The Area Manager will lead Store Managers, drive sales and profitability, maintain solid operational standards and ensure a consistent customer experience across all locations. The role involves regular travel between Melbourne stores and direct responsibility for their overall performance, team development, inventory control, merchandising and profitability.

Key responsibilities

Drive sales, KPIs and store performance

Review Profit & Loss (P&L;) reports and control costs

Coach and develop Store Managers and retail teams

Manage inventory accuracy, stock levels and stock rotation

Maintain strong merchandising and visual standards

Improve staffing productivity and team performance

Identify performance gaps and implement improvements

Drive customer service excellence and business campaigns





Maintain accountability and operational standards across stores

About you

Proven retail management experience, ideally across multiple stores

Strong leadership, commercial awareness and operational skills

Confident working with sales targets, P&L; reports, inventory, merchandising, staffing and store performance

Hands‑on, proactive, accountable and focused on delivering results
