An established design and construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join its Sydney team on a 12-month contract, working across commercial interiors and fitout projects.

This role suits a confident designer with robust creative and technical skills who enjoys taking projects from concept through to delivery. Strong ArchiCAD skills are essential.

The role

- Develop space plans, design concepts and client presentations.
- Select finishes, materials, furniture and fittings.
- Produce detailed design, tender and construction documentation using ArchiCAD.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Resolve design and technical issues while maintaining design intent.
- Manage deadlines and deliverables across multiple projects.




- Support site meetings, drawing reviews and construction-stage queries.

About you

- Proven senior-level interior design experience across commercial and fitout projects.
- Strong ArchiCAD proficiency , particularly in detailed documentation.
- A qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
- Experience from concept design through to construction documentation.
- Sound knowledge of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
