We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills and can work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain electrical designs, schematics, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs) and revisions.
- Release clear, current engineering information for production and service work.
- Support electricians and team leaders with technical questions, drawing interpretation and fault-finding.
- Review production and maintenance requests and clarify technical requirements before work begins.
- Specify parts and provide accurate part numbers, drawing numbers and revisions for purchasing and production.
- Support panel and loom builds, including resolving design issues and reviewing build feedback.
- Work with the quality assurance (QA) team to investigate failures, identify root causes and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and workflow information,



including drawings, revisions and technical notes.
- Contribute to research and development (R&D;), programming and continuous improvement.

Skills

- A degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience creating or maintaining electrical drawings, BOMs and controlled revisions.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with workshop and production teams.
- A careful approach to documentation, traceability, and quality.
- Experience with electrical control systems, panels, wiring looms, PLCs, CAN systems, or industrial and mobile equipment would be an advantage.
