Pay Type: Salary

- Remuneration: $116,981 - $129,492; plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading
- Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible working options available

Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance, the Financial Accountant is an integral part of the S&S; Australia Finance team, central to monthly financial reporting, smooth running of AP and AR processes, accurate processing of eBook and Audiobook revenues, and responsible for ongoing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Involved in finance projects aimed at improving efficiency and quality of service provided to the broader business.
- Ensure accuracy of the P&L; and balance sheet, deliver timely group reporting, support budgets, forecasts and expense tracking, manage royalty contracts and statements, author and agent queries, rights deals, strengthen financial processes and controls, explain complex matters clearly, support junior team members.

Qualifications:

- CPA/ CA qualified or working towards qualification.
- Experience in media industry or audit.
- Exceptional organised and communication skills, solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with accountancy software.
- Proactive, self‑motivated,



strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills, good analytical skills and judgement.
- Inquisitive, unafraid to question existing processes and suggest improvements.
