Focus on conducting Vocational Assessments and Vocational Counselling with Department of Veteran Affairs clients

Work with a range of clients providing meaningful services that will encourage positive health outcomes. This includes DVA, Work Cover, Comcare, Veterans RSL, Income Protection, Self-Insured clients and some fantastic State Government projects

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist to join an established, professional and dedicated provider in DVA clients and more in the Brisbane region. The role:

Complete a range of Assessments including Vocational Assessments, Psychological FCE’s, Worksite Assessments and more. This role has a strong focus on DVA Vocational Assessments

Work across a range schemes providing Case management, Assessment, Planning and Review services

Counselling Services including adjustment to injury counselling, wellness at work, Medicolegal opportunities

Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

Tertiary Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology with General AHPRA Registration or ASORC Membership (full)

A driver’s license and car

Occupational Rehabilitation experience, specifically working with Veterans is highly desired

A warm and professional manner with excellent communication skills
