Role Overview:

As our Scheduler / Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the daily fuel delivery schedule.

Working closely with our drivers, customers and management team, you will ensure deliveries are scheduled efficiently and that our drivers have clear instructions and the information they need to complete their runs.

This is a busy and important role where no two days are necessarily the same. You'll need to be able to think on your feet, manage changing priorities and keep the operation moving when things don't go to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and scheduling daily fuel deliveries.
- Allocating deliveries to the appropriate drivers and vehicles.
- Coordinating delivery times and requirements with customers.
- Monitoring deliveries and making adjustments throughout the day.
- Managing changes caused by customer requests, delays, vehicle availability or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Prioritising urgent and time-sensitive deliveries.
- Communicating regularly with drivers to ensure deliveries remain on schedule.
- Coordinating fuel receiving and other logistical requirements.




- Working closely with the Fleet Manager and General Manager.
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting with product enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate schedules, records and delivery information.
- Identifying opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and vehicle utilisation.
- Ensuring all scheduling and logistics activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will be an organised, practical and confident communicator who enjoys working in a busy operational environment.

We are looking for someone with:

- Previous experience in transport scheduling, logistics, dispatch or fleet coordination.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn recent systems.
- The ability to remain calm and make practical decisions under pressure.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to help the team.
- A strong commitment to safety.

Experience in fuel, transport, petroleum or heavy vehicle scheduling will be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right person.
