Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Full-Stack Developer role based in Laverton North VIC Australia. The Full-Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that support our healthcare software platforms, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating databases and services, and ensuring code quality through testing and reviews. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues and contributing to continuous improvement of our systems and development practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related STEM field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Basic experience with backend development, preferably Python / FastAPI, Django or Flask




- Basic experience with frontend development, preferably React
- Understanding of MySQL or relational databases
- Familiarity with Git workflow
- Basic understanding of APIs, web applications and system integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development for web-based applications
- Experience with Front-End Development, including proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including API design and integration with databases
- Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, .NET, Java, or similar)
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus

Key responsibilities:

- Assist in frontend and backend development for business systems
- Develop and maintain features using up-to-date web technologies
- Support API development, system integration and internal tool development
- Work with product managers and QA to understand requirements and fix issues
- Participate in code review, testing, deployment and post-release support
- Assist with troubleshooting system issues and improving system stability
- Prepare basic technical documentation when required
