Canex has an chance for 30 Casual Aquaculture attendants located in the Broome, Western Australia for our upcoming season. Tasks required of attendants include but are not limited to loading and feeding using mobile fish feeders, assist in harvest operations, test dams for water quality, conduct heath checks, move grade and weighing fish, maintain accurate data, conduct other general duties and maintenance. Successful candidates will be provided with on the job training with some candidates having the ability to upskill. You may be responsible for maintaining and harvesting pearl oysters, monitoring water conditions, feeding oysters, and ensuring farm equipment is in good condition. The role involves physical work both on land and in water, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. For this exciting role you must have a positive level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.

- Be willing to work in all weather conditions including very hot summer periods or wet and rainy cooler periods. You will be required to work an average of 30 hours per week. The term of work will be from December, 2026 to December, 2027 You will be paid under the Aquaculture industry award (MA ). - The work pay for an ordinary rate of Level 1 $32.19 up to Level 2 $33+per/hour

- Working hours will vary from anywhere from 5am to 4pm, 7 days per week.

- Overtime rates will be paid where applicable

- Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
