JewishCare is a leading, child-safe social services organisation supporting the resilience and independence of individuals and families across the NSW community.

We are seeking an experienced Caseworker to join our Community Services & Engagement team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for a qualified qualified seeking meaningful, flexible work within a values-driven organisation.

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive case management and care planning.
- Assess and manage risk, including child protection, family violence, suicide ideation and self-harm.
- Conduct financial assessments in line with organisational procedures.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential client documentation.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external service providers.




- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Bachelor of Social Work required.
- Demonstrated casework experience with individuals and families.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
- Experience managing complex client risk and mandatory reporting obligations.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and community resource.
- Experience in one or more of the following: mental health, disability, aged care, child & family services.
- Domestic & Family Violence experience.
- Russian or Hebrew language skills.
- Understanding and sensitivity of Jewish Culture and Values.

Mandatory requirements:

- Working With Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Check.
