Beleura Hill Preschool is seeking a passionate and preferably experienced Diploma Educator to join our dynamic early childhood education team in 2027. We are located in Mornington and will enable you to get involved from the outset with the staff and families to help deliver engaging and nurturing educational experiences for our children.
The opportunity to commence now is available for the remainder of Term 4 for the hours: Mondays & Thursdays only 12noon to 4.30pm if interested.
What you'll be doing
Assisting the teacher to implement the preschool's curriculum and educational program to foster the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children
Providing high-quality care and supervision to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children
Collaborating with the teaching team to plan, prepare and deliver stimulating learning activities
Helping to observe and document children's progress to inform individualised learning plans
Building positive relationships with children, families and the broader community
Maintaining a safe, clean and engaging learning environment
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
A completed Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Demonstrated experience working as an early childhood educator, preferably in a preschool setting
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the development of young learners
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection certifications
A valid Working with Children Check
