A rare Senior Manager opportunity with a well-regarded Adelaide CBD firm that has been partnering with local families and privately owned businesses for over 30 years.

About The Role n

This is a Senior Manager position within the Business Services & Tax division of an established Adelaide chartered accounting firm. You will lead a portfolio of quality clients, work closely with the Partners on complex compliance and advisory engagements, and play a key role in mentoring and developing the team around you.

The Partners are actively succession planning and are looking for someone who wants to grow into the business long term - equity is on the table for the right person.

What You Will Be Doing n

- Managing a broad portfolio of private clients including family groups and privately owned businesses
n
- Leading complex compliance and tax engagements from start to finish
n
- Providing advisory services across tax planning, structuring and business performance
n
- Working directly alongside the Partners on key client relationships and firm initiatives
n
- Reviewing and mentoring junior and intermediate accountants
n




- Contributing to the firm’s shift toward an advisory-led service model
n

What We Are Looking For nn
- CA or CPA qualified
n
- 8+ years of Australian public practice experience, with significant time at Manager or Senior Manager level
n
- Strong technical knowledge across business services, tax compliance and advisory
n
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio independently
n
- Natural leadership presence with experience mentoring team members
n
- A commercial mindset and genuine interest in client outcomes
n
- Ambition to move beyond compliance and grow into an advisory-focused role
n
- 2 days WFH per week and flexible schedule
n
- Established portfolio of fees ready to take over from day one
n
- Firm is heavily investing in technology and AI - target of 70% advisory within 2 years
n
- Equity pathway available for the right candidate through Partner succession planning
n
