About the role

Unitech Building Services is seeking a dedicated Makesafe Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis based in Edwardstown, SA 5039 . This is a critical position within our construction operations, where you will play a vital role in ensuring that properties remain safe for occupants and to mitigate further damages. As a Makesafe Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of makesafe works across multiple projects, whilst maintaining project timelines. This role is central to our commitment to delivering safe, secure construction environments for our customers and clients.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinating makesafe works with contractors, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure works are carried out urgently as required
- Preparing makesafe reports for clients detailing the works that were carried out
- Liaising with site managers, clients and insurance representatives to communicate makesafe requirements and timelines
- Documenting all makesafe works including photographic evidence, inspection reports and completion records
- Communicating regularly with customers and clients to provide timely updates and details around the works being carried out

What we're looking for

- Excellent organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously




- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate reports and documentation
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- Previous experience in a makesafe or building coordinator role is preferred but not a requirement.
