Commercial Electrician – Sports & Infrastructure Lighting

T2 Electrical & Data is a quick-growing commercial electrical contractor based in Logan. We’re after experienced commercial electricians who enjoy a steady mix of small to large projects throughout the year.

We specialise in sports field lighting, pathway and carpark lighting, switchboard installations and high-profile projects across South East Queensland. We work as one team to deliver high-quality work from start to finish.

What’s in it for you

Full-time permanent: $50–$60/hr + super + leave entitlements

Casual: $60-$70/hr + super

Rates negotiable on experience, tickets and performance

Vehicle: Single-cab work ute - take-home, company phone and uniforms provided

The work

Deliver small to large commercial and sports lighting projects from start to finish

Wide variety of work: civil infrastructure, electrical reticulation, switchboards, lighting, controls and working at heights

Install main switchboards, distribution boards and control systems





Install, test, certify and commission installations to relevant standards and safety requirements

Coordinate with subcontractors to deliver works

Mentor apprentices and junior team members

Report to supervisors and the project manager

What you’ll need

- Current QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence
- 3+ years post-trade commercial experience
- Confident reading drawings, schematics and plans
- Open manual C-class driver licence with a clean driving history
- White Card
- Current CPR and LVR (within the last 12 months)
- A good attitude: willing to learn and focused on getting it right
- A team player who communicates well
- Initiative to work with minimal supervision and solve problems
- Pride and attention to detail in your work

Highly regarded (not essential)

- High Risk Work Licence (WP) – EWP over 11m, plus working at heights
- Open Cabling Registration with structured cabling endorsement

Our projects are based across Brisbane, Logan, Redlands and Ipswich, so candidates nearby will find this especially convenient. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
