To operate and maintain Flexographic printing equipment at QLM, ensuring high-quality production of printed materials while maintaining efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Operate Flexographic Presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to job bag specifications
Monitor print jobs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
Maintain accurate production records and report any issues promptly
Monitor printed materials for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications
Calibrate and maintain printing equipment to ensure consistent colour accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on press and report any problems promptly
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Work collaboratively to resolve production problems and improve workflow
Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
About you
Proven experience operating printing presses - specifically reel to reel
Certificate III in Flexographic Printing
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Accurate RF scanning and time clocking into MIS systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with various printing presses (desirable)
