Direct Collectiveis a management rights & serviced apartment chain withcomplexeslocated throughout Queensland. We are currently looking for a conscientious and dedicated Public Area Groundsperson/Maintenance Person for our Emerald Complex. (Complex 30 apartments)

The position is Monday – Friday but we are adaptable on an arrangement, and we are seeking someone who already knows their way around cleaning equipment, chemicals, a paint brush & toolbox and can learn quickly and be comfortable working autonomously. Weekly hours would be a minimum of 20hrs with more dependent on skill and availability.

To shine in this position, we are looking for someone with energy and a positive attitude. Good time management and meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Reporting to the ComplexManager you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and appearance of the property is kept at a high standard. Ideally,



you will have previous experience with basic preventative maintenance programs – the ability to undertake minor maintenance and painting would be a real advantage.

This rolecalls for someone who is physically fit with a healthy respect for workplace health and safety and will go the extra mile to provide a positive guest experience.

This role is a hands-on role and amongother tasks, the successful applicant will manage the following duties.

- Clean & maintain all driveways, walkways & common areas within the building complex.
- Waste management throughout the complex including rotating bins, putting bins out for collection, bringing bins in after collection, regularly cleaning of bins and bin areas etc
- Proactively report any areas of concern to the Complex Manager immediately.
- Complete general handyman duties, including minor repairs and maintenance.
- All other tasks as per our caretaking schedule of duties and as directed by management.
