About the Role

We are seeking an experiencedAI Engineerto join a leading banking organisation and play a key role in developing and delivering innovativeAI and data solutionsacross the business.

Working at the intersection ofArtificial Intelligence, Data and Technology, you will design, build and implement scalable solutions that leverage data, machine learning and emerging AI capabilities to solve complex business problems and improve customer and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and deployAI and machine learning solutionsacross a range of business use cases.
- Work with large and complex datasets to develop data-driven solutions and insights.
- Build and integrateAI/ML models, APIs and data servicesinto enterprise technology environments.
- Support the development and adoption ofGenerative AI and emerging AI capabilities.
- Develop robust, scalable and production-ready data and AI pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Owners and business stakeholders.
- Translate business problems into practicalAI and data solutions.
- Contribute to AI engineering standards, frameworks, governance and responsible AI practices.
- Continuously evaluate new AI technologies, tools and approaches and identify opportunities for their application.




- Ensure solutions meet requirements aroundsecurity, privacy, scalability, performance and regulatory compliance.

About You

You will be an experiencedAI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Data/Software Engineerwith strong hands-on experience developing and implementing AI and data solutions within complex environments.

You will ideally bring:

- Strong software engineering and programming skills, particularlyPython.
- Experience developing and deployingmachine learning or AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, data pipelines and modern data platforms.
- Experience withGenerative AI, LLMs, NLP or other emerging AI technologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such asAzure, AWS or GCP.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices and enterprise technology environments.
- Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD and productionisation of AI/ML models.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience withinbanking, financial services or another highly regulated environmentwould be advantageous.
