Job Description

Junior Trade Assistant: Outdoor Areas, Renovations & Extensions n

You'll work alongside our Leading Hand on site, supporting the carpentry and construction team and learning the trade properly from experienced builders.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Assist the Leading Hand with framing, decking, pergolas, roofing and general building works

n

Load, transport and set up materials, tools and equipment for site

n

Help out at our Montrose factory when required

n

Keep sites safe, clean and organised

n

Learn to read plans and follow instructions accurately

n

Pitch in wherever the job needs it

n

About you

n

Keen to learn and build a career in construction

n

Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic

n

Positive communicator who works well in a small team and with clients on site

n

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

n

Own transport and a current driver's licence

n

White Card (or willingness to obtain one immediately)





n

Previous labouring, carpentry or building experience is an advantage, but not essential

n
