Barista at ICC Sydney

Join our vibrant café in Sydney as a Barista! We are seeking a passionate individual with a love for coffee and a knack for customer service. In this role, you will craft high‑quality beverages and create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, contributing to the overall success of our café in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and workstations.
- Oversee coffee machine settings and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in training current staff members on coffee preparation and customer service standards.
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of barista experience in a café or similar environment.
- Experience in front of house roles, providing customer service.
- Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.

Barista at ICC Sydney – Event Delivery Team

We are currently looking for an experienced full‑time Barista to join our world‑class Event Delivery team. You will be the face of our venue, working within our bustling Café at the entrance of our Convention Centre.

You will play a key role in the delivery of our extraordinary experiences, working in a rapid‑paced environment while delivering 5‑star service, and delicious coffee! You will:





- Work as a Barista within the Café, preparing coffee orders in a timely manner.
- Deliver 5‑star service, greeting and serving our guests and clients and representing the ICC brand.
- Assist the retail team in taking orders using the POS system, restocking of fridges and serving Food & Beverage offerings.
- Ensure the Café and surrounding areas are tidy and stock is replenished throughout the day.
- Complete open and close shifts, including maintenance of the coffee machine and general maintenance of the Café and area.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Working knowledge of the industry along with a passion for Hospitality.
- Availability to work the hours of 6:30 am to 3 pm across a 7 day roster.
- Immaculate personal presentation & grooming.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for turning the ordinary into extraordinary.
